International Nurses Day?

International Nurses Day is a chance to celebrate nurses and their contribution to the health of society. Each year, the International Council of Nurses chooses a theme for International Nurses Day discussions. The theme for 2012 was Closing the gap: from evidence to action’.

To celebrate International Nurses Day in 2012, RCNA again held the RCNA National Nurses Breakfast! Collectively, breakfasts and events held across Australia, on or around Saturday 12 May 2012, were linked in to participate in the RCNA National Nurses Breakfast. The events could be anything from a casual get-together with friends and colleagues to a department organised gourmet spread.
