Dear Colleagues

I wish to invite nurses from across the country to attend RCNA’s Nursing Summit to be held at the Hotel Realm, Canberra from 26-28 May 2010.

Minds converging to inspire, progress and promote the profession of nursing, is the theme for the summit. This is your opportunity to engage and get energised about your profession and its future.

The summit’s objectives include:

• harnessing the best ideas from across the nation
• applying these ideas to the core challenges facing the nursing profession
• re-positioning future goals and strategies to support the progression and promotion of nursing in Australia.

To ensure all delegates have the opportunity to participate in round table discussions at the summit, registrations are strictly limited to 250 delegates. RCNA will aim to have a balance of representation from nurses working in the areas of education, clinical practice, research and nursing policy, to create a forum that encourages rigorous discussion and healthy debate.
